It seems like the famous franchise of Fast & Furious which is known for its fast-paced storyline all around the globe has just gotten more expanded. Yes… the rumors about the star of the Aquaman franchise, Jason Momoa joining the team of Fast & Furious are spreading like wildfire. And it looks like Jason Momoa is really ready to join the club replacing Dwayne Johnson. He will be starring alongside Vin Diesel and other popular actors and actresses in the forthcoming installment of Fast & Furious 10.

Jason Momoa set off his journey in the acting world as a model and soon garnered a lot of popularity after he appeared in the action-adventure drama show Baywatch Hawaii. The name of his character in that series was Jason Loane. After his first debut in the show, he didn’t have to look back and his popularity skyrocketed. And now… he is considered one of the most versatile actors in Hollywood town. He is widely known all around the world for his signature character of Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe movie.

Is Jason Momoa Really Going to Join the Fast & Furious Club?

Now, according to the reports made by popular magazine Hollywood Reporter, the handsome hunk is going to sign his name in the team of Fast & Furious for their upcoming movie Fast & Furious 10 or in short ‘F10.’ The title of the movie hasn’t been decided yet. As we all know, Vin Diesel made a request to Dwayne Johnson to rejoin their family for the upcoming installment of the franchise. And due to some personal feud between The Rock and Vin Diesel, The Rock decided to reject his proposal. So, we will most probably be seeing Jason Momoa substituting the character of The Rock. Yes… the star of Game of Thrones will most probably be playing an antagonist character in the movie. But as the screenplay of the movie is still under development, we cannot say anything for sure about the character of Jason Momoa.

Besides the characters of Jason Momoa and Vin Diesel in the upcoming installment of the Fast & Furious franchise, we will also be seeing Michelle Rodriguez, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Tyrese Gibson, and Sung Kang recurring their respective characters in the movie. Charlize Theron will also be seen in the movie. his character was seen in two parts of the franchise, Fate of the Furious and F9. We have seen Dwayne Johnson in previous parts of the franchise, but unfortunately, we won’t be seeing him in this upcoming installment. He has clearly declared that he won’t be returning to the franchise. The reason for his harsh decision was the feud between him and his co-star Vin Diesel. The director of the previous 9th installment of the Fast & Furious franchise Justin Lin is also going to be the directorial body of this upcoming installment. The movie is set to release globally on 19th May of 2023. So as Jason Momoa is replacing The Rock in the movie, will we be seeing him reprising the same character as before? Or will he be resenting some new character on the board? We cannot say for sure… all we can do is wait until the movie is released on the big screens.
