The Rock REJECTS Vin Diesel’s calls to return to Fast & Furious franchise with a big NO

Introduction

Dwayne Johnson who is also popular in the world of entertainment as ‘The Rock’ has recently rejected the plea of Vin Diesel for the previous WWE fighter to come back to the sets of Fast and Furious 10. We have seen a continuous clash between The Rock and Diesel for quite a while now. At first glance, the fusion of these two action megastars seemed kind of a perfect combination for the chemistry of action films. But afterward, the huge personalities of both the actors made it harder and harder for both to get along. Even though Dwayne Johnson did join the franchise of Fast and Furious back in 2011 with Fast Five movie, their feud didn’t come in front of the public until 2017 with the movie Fate of the Furious.

Back in 2016, Dwayne Johnson posted on his Instagram handle on 8th August. The post was deleted afterward. In that post, he talked about his co-stars from the movie Fate of the Furious. He praised some of the female co-stars and some of his male co-stars were criticized by him. To be exact, he named some of them as ‘candy asses.’ Although he never mentioned any particular name, gossips spread all over the internet that, that post is meant for one of his co-actor Vin Diesel, regarding his behavior on the set of the movie. Since the deleted post of Dwyane Johnson, both the actors have acknowledged the rivalry between them in several interviews and posts on social media. On the other hand, it is reported that these two megastars have recently been made up. But it looks like Dwyane Johnson still believes that Vin Diesel is not being completely honest. Now coming to the recent post of Vin Diesel, he posted on his official Instagram handle addressing The Rock as his ”little brother Dwyane” to come back to the Fast and Furious Franchise. And as mentioned before, his plea was rejected by Johnson.

In an interview, Dwyane Johnson also elaborated that he disliked Vin Diesel dragging out his kids in his posts on Instagram, in which Vin posted that his kids call Dwyane Johnson as ‘Uncle Dwayne.’ Diesel also mentioned that there is not a single holiday that goes by that his kids and Dwyane Johnson don’t send their wishes. Additionally, in the interview, Johnson also said he did not enjoy Diesel for bringing the tragic death of Paul Walker to the equation. Diesel wrote in his Instagram post that he would “fulfill [his] promise to Pablo” (Walker’s nickname) in making “The best speed in the last 10!” Johnson seems to have already responded to these things by telling Diesel to “leave them in it,” referring to both Walker’s and Diesel’s children.

For fans of Johnson’s Fast & Furious actor, Luke Hobbs, they may be disappointed to hear that The Rock has no plans to return to the franchise. Although he and Diesel have reportedly been “engaged” before, it seems Johnson does not want to work with Diesel again. That being said, there is still a chance that Johnson will again play his role in spin-off, Fast & Furious, Hobbs & Shaw, in a row. If not, audiences would be looking forward to seeing their favorite actors, with the exception of Johnson, return to Fast & Furious 10 when it comes out in 2023.
