Recap of The Goldbergs Season 9 Episode 3
‘Riptide Waters,’ the third episode of Season 9, is set in the eponymous waterpark when Mr. Glascott is injured. However, he subsequently creates his own petition to preserve his old haunt from demolition. He collaborates with Adam to make a documentary about a few people’s experiences there.
When the inhabitants of Riptide Waters begin to confront existing concerns, things take a severe turn. Instead of using the material they’ve gathered, Barry and Adam create a promotional film for the park, which is obviously rejected by the board. Barry is saddened by the outcome, but Adam seemed more worried about his CV, which would include all of his waterpark activity. So, it’s really a victory for him. However, when Barry realizes this, he lashes out at Adam. Later, Barry finds him preparing to ride a ride at the waterpark and confronts him.
Adam finally understands that their childhood is gone forever, and there is nothing more painful. He and Barry, on the other hand, resolve to leave their past behind and create room for new memories. In other news, Geoff seeks professional marriage therapy from a marriage specialist, but this does not settle Erica’s conflict with her mother. Beverly had imposed her will on the wedding preparations, which irritated the soon-to-be bride. To Geoff’s relief, the women show up for the therapy session!
