The Expanse Season 6 Recap
The first episode of season 6 aired on 10 December 2021, globally. The show releases its episode on an episode-by-episode basis. This means one episode is released every Friday. The ending of season five introduced a new antagonist, Marco Inaros. As the clouds of loss and remorse surface over the crew of Rocinante, Chrisjen Avasarala sends Bobbie Draper on a secret mission to turn the circumstances on their side.

The Expanse Season 7 Renewal Theories
Many big media houses have officially mentioned that The Expanse Season 7 is not happening and that season six was the last of The Expanse. Amazon prime on second hand hasn’t made any confirmation about the renewal or cancellation of the show. Earlier they had renewed the show for three more seasons and now they have to renew it again but this hasn’t happened till now.
If you follow the books on which the show is based, book 7 is Persepolis Rising which is set another 30 years apart from the previous one. This means the characters have to look aged and have to wear prosthetics or the production team has to use CGI to make them look old. As the last choice, they have the option of recasting.
There is no clear fate of the show as it has not proved to be a good economic asset to both SyFy and Amazon Prime Video. Even though the show has become more popular after arriving on Amazon Prime and the platform itself had scored the highest-rated Monday night debut of any show on January 14 with the last episode of season 6.

Like SyFy Channel canceled it after season three, people thought there will be no further story for the show to exist. But Amazon revived it with three more seasons and gave a long-term story which has made fans believe that they will get revelations about the leftover cliffhangers.
