Manhwa is a South Korean term that basically refers to printed comics and cartoons. It existed in South Korean culture for a long time until it gained worldwide popularity through some of its best comics. Manhwa comics can be read by anyone around the globe through Webtoons. Recent times have seen a growth of these stories being adapted into many movies and television shows, Tower of God is one of them. People confuse it for the Chinese comics called Manhua, but both are different just like the manga comics of Japan.
Japan has come out to be one of the most successful and developed countries post-World War II and has a highly positive reputation. Our protagonist Sung Jin-Woo is the center of attention in Solo Leveling. As the plot begins, we see super powerful monsters entering the planet Earth through portals. These portals need to be cleaned and closed for monsters to stop entering this realm and the duty is handed over to Hunters who have obtained mysterious powers after the invasion began. They work with several guilds to protect this planet and need to attain their final goal, that is, defeating the final boss. If Hunters get defeated, the portals will be left open for monsters to enter the earth and slaughter humans.
Our hero Sung Jin-Woo is the most terrible hunter you can think of, probably the weakest but he gets his day when he achieves a unique ability to ‘level up’ by completing a quest in a terrifying dungeon and becoming a pro player in this game. Now he can swift on his journey to becoming the most powerful hunter and the Savior of Earth by defeating and fighting several powered monsters and saving Earth by defeating the final boss and closing all the portals. Will he be able to save the Earth by the end?
The short teaser trailer is enough to shake up the anime market and gather the attention of viewers toward this highly anticipated anime adaptation. Solo Leveling anime Season 1 was introduced to the audience with a short teaser by Crunchyroll at Anime Expo 2022 and has received a highly positive response from anime lovers.
Sadly, we still don’t have a confirmed release date or schedule for Solo Leveling Season 1 but the promotions have already begun.
