Synopsis
After the death of his parents, eight-year-old Yuuichirou Amane is taken by the Hyakuya Orphanage, where he struggles to reunite with his new “family.” However, this soon becomes even less of a concern, when a major epidemic suddenly strikes and kills all people over the age of 13. Taking advantage of the chaos, the vampires — who had been lying on the ground — arose and enslaved the survivors, using them. like blood-harvesting animals.
Four years later, Yuuichirou and his family have become accustomed to living under the control of a vampire, although Yuuichirou still yearns to kill all vampires and end their fearsome rule. This often causes him to quarrel with the orphan Mikaela Hyakuya, who insists on using common sense and ingenuity to survive. After gaining favor among the vampires, Mikaela gains insight and uses this to plan his escape. They also start thinking if they are a part of the plans made by Saito, while Crowley wonders that it could be of Ferid. On the other hand, Mahiru and Guren also think that the first has been captured, earlier than expected. This happens before Yu comes back with Mika. While Guren congratulates his return, he now holds three sinful keys in his hand.
