Synopsis of the Plot and Possible Twists

According to Deadline, the synopsis of the reboot said:

“Twenty years ago, a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. Now, in the present day, a group of disparate teen girls- a brand-new set of Little Liars- find themselves tormented by an unknown Assailant and made to pay for the secret sin their parents committed two decades ago…as well as their own.”

This time, Pretty Little Liars Original Sin has been described as a darker, new, modern, and “horror-tinged” show which is making some meaning, seeing that the reboot is being commanded by the creator of the shows like Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Riverdale that is, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa and also Lindsay Calhoon Bring, who was a former staff writer on CAOS.

In some interviews, it was heard from Aguirre and Calhoon that they are very huge fans of I. Marlene King and her iconic casts’ creations have to treat the original series like a #canon and do something unique. They referred to the original PLL series which was aired in 2010.

They also hinted that they are leaning towards the suspense and horror genres in their reboot, which will hopefully honor the elements admired by the fans in the hit series while inserting new, unusual, and unexpected elements.
