Platinum End Anime To Release This Fall; Release Date On Crunchy Roll

Platinum End, the plot?

The plot of Platinum End revolves around abused adolescent Mirai Takahashi, who contemplates suicide to end his tortured life.

Mirai Kakehashi, who has grown tired of living with abuse from his aunt and uncle since his parents’ deaths, is the protagonist of Platinum End. Nasse, a guardian angel, rescued her from committing suicide. Mirai learned from Nasse that her aunt and uncle were responsible for her parent’s deaths, and the talents she received from her angel will be used to seek the justice she deserves.

Nasse, on the other hand, informed her that God would be retiring in 999 days and that Mirai had been chosen as his replacement. It is a non-negotiable decision to which she cannot object. Other contenders would kill to be the next God, however, Mirai builds a coalition to obtain the role without killing anyone.

What You Should Know About Platinum End?

Platinum End’s original manga debuted in 2015 and ran until January of the current year. Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata, the duo behind the iconic manga Death Note, wrote and illustrated it. It shares the same art style and even some of the same topics as its predecessor. The series’ English release was managed by Viz Media, which has now released the complete series in English.

The anime was unveiled at the Jump Festa ’21 online event when it was confirmed that Signal.MD will be in charge of the series. Signal. MD. mostly handles anime films but has also produced contemporary TV shows such as FLCL Progressive and Dragon Goes House-Hunting. The first “series” will be 24 episodes long and directed by Hideya Takahashi, while the second series will be directed by Kazuchika Hise. Takahashi has worked on Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure entries, so he is more than capable of writing a story of this magnitude.
