On Saturday, Netflix had a global mega-event called TUDUM, where a lot of actors, directors, and other cast members were present. At TUDUM, we got many surprises! Many of our favorite shows got renewed for new seasons and we also got to see the first looks of others. One of the shows in the lineup was Ozark– an American crime drama thriller. After a money-laundering scheme goes wrong, a financial planner moves his family away from their hometown whilst being on the run from a Mexican drug lord. And we are getting Ozark Season 4 very soon.
Ozark’s first season came out 0n 21st July 2017. Created by Bill Dubuque and Mark Williams, this thriller has 3 seasons and 30 episodes.
Ozark received a lot of praise from viewers all around the world. The show got nominated 32 times for Primetime Emmy Awards. Jason Bateman who plays Marty Byrde also won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance for Ozark in 2020 while Julia Garner who plays Ruth Langamore won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for Ozark in 2020 as well.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM OZARK SEASON 4- SEASON 4 FIRST LOOK
Ozark Season 4 is set to return to Netflix in 2022! It will be a two-part season and will have 14 episodes total split into two 7 episode halves. Based on the first look we got, things are going to get a little bloody.
The clip from the season 4 premiere picks up exactly where the season 3 finale left off. After the violent, shocking ending that season 3 had, Ozark season 4 starts with Marty Byrd (Jason Bateman) and Wendy Byrde (Laura Linney) in Mexico.
OZARK SEASON 4 PRODUCTION UPDATES
The fourth season of Ozark started filming on November 9th, 2020 and will wrap on October 8, 2021. We also know that the opening episode of Ozark season 4 is titled “The Beginning of The End”.
There isn’t much to know as of now since it’s still early days and 2022 is a long time away.
Jason Bateman explained that each episode takes approximately 11 days to shoot with 2 weeks of prep-time before that. The wrap date is scheduled to be 8th October 2021 which means, if all goes to plan, we should have more details soon.
SEASON 4 TRAILER AND LAUNCH DATE
There hasn’t been any announcement regarding the release date yet but it can be expected by the end of 2021. Hopefully, the first half of Ozark season 4 will come out in the early part of 2022 followed by the second and final half later on in the year.
A trailer is expected approximately a month before the release with a teaser shortly before the official trailer launch.
