Introduction
The renowned comedy series produced by Apple TV and led by Patricia Arquette, ‘High Desert’ has just assembled six new members in its team, as per the report. Who are they?
Matt Dillon, Weruche Opia, Bernadette Peters, Rupert Friend, Brad Garrett, and Christine Taylor will be joining the crew along with Patricia Arquette in the half-hour-long show.
The series presents us Arquette as a drug addict named Peggy. After her mother whom she loved very much and lived with her in a small town situated in the Yucca Valley of California, passes away, she ultimately decides to start a new, fresh life. She takes the life-shaking decision of being a private investigator. The series was first brought into Apple TV back in September of 2020.
Who’s Going To Play What In The Series?
Matt Dillon will be acting as Denny, the ex-husband of Peggy, who is also an undoubtedly charming talker and a restlessly active person. Rupert will act as Guru Bob a retired TV show anchor from the neighborhood. Versuche will do the role of Carol, the best friend of Peggy, who is also the fiancé of an emergency room doctor who has her own secrets. Brad acts as Brice, a private detective, whose work is facing a downfall. Peggy is his employee (she actually forces him into it). Bernadette plays the mother of Peggy, Rosalyn. Christine is the conservative sister of Peggy, Dianne.
Untitled Entertainment and UTA represent Matt. Attorneys Jennifer Gray, as well as Steve Warren and Grandview, represent Rupert. Curtis Brown, Shelby Weiser, and Anonymous Content represent Weruche. UTA also represents Brad along with Gendler & Kelly and Management 360. WME represents Bernadette and Silver Lining entertainment represents Christine.

Know Something More About the Series
The writers and the major producers for ‘High Desert’ are Nancy Fichman, Katie Ford, and Jennifer Hoppe. Arquette will also produce executively along with her starring in the series. Jay Roach is assigned as the director of all eight episodes and he is also with the main production. Ben Stiller is producing alongside Jackie Cohn and Nicky Weinstock through Red Hour Films. Tom Lassally and Molly Madden have produced while representing 3 Arts Entertainment. John Cameron will also work as a major producer, with Michelle Graham of Delirious Media co-executive producing. Apple TV Studios will produce.
This particular show from apple TV is the second of its kind where Arquette and stiller will be seen working side by side. Earlier it was declared that Arquette will be starring in an as well as work as an executive producer in the drama series of apple TV ‘Severance,’ where stiller will work as a director and also as an executive producer. The duo also worked as a pair on the hugely extolled series of showtime Limited ‘Escape at the Dannemora,’ which led Arquette to win a Golden Globe Award as well as to get a nomination for Emmy Award. On the other hand, Stiller also got a nomination for the best directing figure for another limited series.
