“Kingdom” is a Japanese anime television series that has recently completed a decade anniversary in June. A Recap to Kingdom Season 4’s Story Till Episode 17
Kingdom Season 4 is expected to be a pivotal point in this story as it is going to cover a total of 4 arcs that are extremely important in the mainstream storyline. These arcs are Kyou Kai’s Revenge Arc, Conspiracy in the Court Arc, Fire Dragons of Wei Arc, and State of Ai Arc. This season will have 26 episodes, the same number of episodes as its previous installment.
The synopsis of this season says that Qin managed to survive the coalition war. Qin and the combined armies of countries were left with heavy marks due to the battle that engulfed the whole of China. There were significant faces in Qin that wanted to take the advantage of this chaos to break a civil war. Ryo Fui is also swiftly moving towards his ambitions. Qin witnesses new upheaval after facing a terrible crisis of national survival.

The trailer was extremely promising and gave us a pretty excellent view of the upcoming story. We can see the story turning pretty ugly and intense this time through the expressions of the main characters.
Adapted from the Japanese manga series Kingudamu written and illustrated by Yasuhisa Hara, the TV anime series is currently being directed by Kenichi Imaizumi and Kazuya Monma. Pierrot and Studio Signpost have collaborated to animate the show while IKIF+ had also worked on the first two seasons. All seasons of Kingdom can be viewed on Crunchyroll and Funimation.

Is Kingdom Season 5 Happening?
The manga version of Kingdom is hundreds of chapters ahead of the anime story and we have plenty of stories available to showcase in the upcoming episodes. The first season gave us the story until chapter 173 of Volume 16 in the manga while the second season took this counting to chapter 260 of Volume 24.
The third season was comparatively shorter and so is expected with the ongoing season four. The team of Kingdom has a lot of stories and can give many seasons, like one season released every year. So yes, Kingdom Season 5 is definitely arriving! There are no official announcements as of now but we can expect one after the conclusion of Season 4 as the team must be looking at the performance of this project.
When Can We Expect the Release of Season 5?
Kingdom Season 5 may not take much time in arriving our screens as the team is reportedly ready to announce the fifth season very soon. As they provide over 2 dozen episodes every time with a new season, Kingdom Season 5 may take about a year to be ready on the production side and have a global release.
