Hank Dalton was born as Steven McGregor on November 22, 1980. He developed a passion for wrestling at a young age and started training to be a pro wrestler at the age of 12. He learned the ropes from Shelby and Barbara Adcock, who promoted the Teo-State Indiana Wrestling Association, and Randy Conrad, who ran the Coalfield Wrestling Alliance. He made his debut in June 1997 as “Ironman” Steve Seigers in a mixed-gender match against Candi Devine in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
He continued to wrestle on weekends while working as a carpenter with his father and later as a semi-truck driver. He adopted various gimmicks over the years, such as a midget mob boss from New York, a cowboy with a stick horse named Hee Haw, and a nephew of Bob Seger. He eventually settled on the name Little Hank Dalton, which was given to him by his friends Madman Pondo and Ox Harley. The name was inspired by Hank Williams Jr. and Patrick Swayze’s character in Road House.
A Veteran of the Micro Wrestling Circuit
Hank Dalton was best known for his appearances in the Micro Wrestling Federation and Micro Wrestling All-Stars, where he entertained fans with his charisma, humor, and skills. He was affectionately called “Shorty” by his friends and colleagues, who admired his strength and resilience. He won several championships and accolades in his career, including the MWF Tag Team Championship with Joe Hopkins.
