The Period Drama Romance Stole our Hearts in Season 2
Bridgerton Season 2 presented Anthony Bridgerton, the eldest sibling and head whose only intention to marry is to fulfill his duties, but he expects his wife to be perfect in every way. Lord Jack comes out as a replacement for the head of the Featherington family. The Sharma family also arrives in London. Lady Whistledown continues to print gossip letters and her talks in society increase which makes Queen Charlotte curious to find her. Edwina is the key to learning the identity of Lady Whistledown. Anthony and Edwina are struggling to express their feelings to each other.
Anthony is struck by the thought that came to his mind during his father‘s death and Violet griefing at Edmund’s death. This makes him pledge to never have true love in his life and avoid this pain and grief. Kate informs that she will return to India after Edwina and Anthony get married. Lord Jack on other hand tells Portia about being broke and the duo decides to add fake rubies to the missing wealth. Edwina‘s grandparents, The Sheffields, also arrive in London after her engagement and she learns about the trust fund they have left for her. Edwina finally comes to know about Anthony and Kate’s confusing love for each other and refuses to marry him.
Queen Charlotte gets an idea of where she can find Lady Whistledown. She accuses Eloise of being Lady Whistledown which makes her worry about her safety of Theo. Penelope writes an ugly story about Eloise to save her friend, upsetting Eloise. Colin also learns about Lord Jack is a fraud and Jack and Portia think of seeking refuge in America. In the end, it is revealed that Penelope is the original Lady Whistledown and Eloise comes to know this. The show experiences a six-month leap where Anthony and Kate get married. Now Bridgerton Season 3 has to continue the story and can possibly take wrong turns for the newly married couple.

Based on the Bridgerton series by Julia Quinn, the American TV series is a period romance drama produced by Sarada McDermott, Holden Chang, and Sarah Dollard. Shondaland and CVD Productions have worked on this project whereas Netflix holds the broadcast rights to the show. The show debuted on Netflix in December 2020 and became the most-watched English language television series on Netflix at that time with 656.16 million hours in the first 28 days of its release.
In April 2021, the series has been renewed for the third and fourth seasons. Currently, two seasons have aired with a total of 16 episodes in which Kris Bowers did the music composition. Bridgerton Season 3 is Coming! Check the Expected Plot
Julia Quinn‘s Bridgerton series consisted of eight books and reportedly, Bridgerton Season 3 was expected to cover the story of the third book. In a recent interview with Variety, the showrunner, Jess Brownell tells us that they will be skipping to book 4 which will focus on Colin and Penelope‘s love story. Season two witnessed a setup for the duo into a romantic relationship but it ended in a tough and undesirable situation by the end of Bridgerton Season 2. Actually, Colin was enacting the idea of a romance with Penelope to his friends and at the worst of his luck, Penelope overheard him.
Jess believes that it is now their time after two seasons and they need to showcase the better side of them together. We can also witness what can be coming next for Lady Whistledown now. Eloise Bridgerton now knows that her best friend Penelope is Lady Whistledown who has been writing gossip newsletters and in a heartbreaking scene, the pair argues and decides to end their friendship. Even the actors want the on-screen characters to restore their lifelong friendship and find a solution, something like Penelope apologizing for some of the mistakes she has done that hearted Eloise.
Now it is up to the show makers to bring new characters or independent storylines to Bridgerton Season 3, whatever they do, we are extremely excited this time for the show to return.
Is There Any Release Date or Trailer for Bridgerton Season 3?
We may sound greedy asking the team to release the trailer for Bridgerton Season 3 or provide us with the release date. As Season two concluded just a few months ago, Bridgerton Season 3 must be experiencing the filming period and will later shift for the production work. There are very low chances for Bridgerton Season 3 to release in 2022. We can expect an official trailer launch by the end of this year while the complete season can release any time by mid-2023.
