Arifureta Season 2 Release Date; Can Hajime Pass All The Challenges?

Creators have a difficult time coming up with new ideas when it’s about anime. Millions of people around the world have found joy in anime for years. Like many genres, it has its trappings and colloquialisms that have been around for quite a long time. For the most part, though, the new anime series Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest avoids the pitfalls of the past. And now the wait is nearly over with the announcement of Arifureta Season 2.

Arifureta: Introduction

Arifureta is built up in the same way as classic anime. Hajime Nagumo, the protagonist, is very much an otaku. After being transferred to Tortus, Hajime discovers that every one of his schoolmates has stronger supernatural powers than he has. Unhappily, one of his friends cheats on him, leading Hajime to embrace violent behavior and risk in order to reclaim his honor. A vampire called Yue, a girl named Shea, and many other characters from his new world meet him on his quest to become stronger despite his ordinary abilities.

Season 1 of the anime series “Arifureta” premiered in 2019. It was built on approximately 4 volumes of manga. Another 6 volumes remain as prospective sources for future adaptations.

Arifureta Season 2: Release Date

Arifureta might return for a probable season 2, based on what we have known up until now. Season 2 of Arifureta will premiere on Japanese television during Winter 2022, as per the Anime Collective’s sources. While the accurate release date has not yet been determined, January 2022 is presently registered as the tentative date. Besides the announcement, a teaser video and trailer were revealed.

Expected plot for the 2nd season of Arifureta

It is expected that Arifureta season 2 would release online 2 weeks after it airs in Japan for English-speaking audiences who want the dubbed rendition. As of right now, Funimation owns the English-language license to Arifureta. Season 1 was launched in Japan on July 8, 2021, and the very first episode was broadcasted on Funimation on July 22. However, we may make reasonable guesses about what Season 2 of “Arifureta will focus on, depending on wherein the first season ended.  Arifureta enthusiasts on Reddit claim that Season 1 followed the manga’s initial 4 volumes. The 2nd season of the anime might be made using the remaining 6 volumes of the Arifureta manga which has 10 volumes in total.

While Hajime was still through his metamorphosis from despised otaku to threat to life bad guy, by Season 1 finished, much of his transition had been completed. Towards the conclusion of the series, Hajime alongside his companions vanquished the demon-allied wizard Yukitoshi Shimizu. In volume 5, Hajime and his friends travel together ranging from the desert to the seaside city of Erisen after conquering Shimizu.  En route, they uncover that people are suffering from an unknown sickness and set out to find a solution.
