The FCC has finally certified both the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3.
Both the smartphones of Samsung will get Qualcomm Power and MST, with the fold getting S-Pen functionality. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are the latest additions to Samsung’s foldable phone series, and are slated to be released in the coming months. We’ve already seen a slew of leaks and heard of rumors, and much more. The FCC recently approved two instruments, indicating that a launch may not be far away. The item listing, on the other hand, provides a wealth of information on the new foldable phone.
The model number for the Galaxy Z Flip 3 foldable phone is SM-F711U, and the FCC website provides a few critical features. While we still don’t know much about the chipset, display size, design, or cameras, the FCC website does reveal several connectivity choices.
Starting with the Galaxy Z Fold 3, FCC filing will be required. The model number matches the SMF926U, which matches previously leaked model numbers for the larger foldable. If the model number wasn’t enough, the filing’s report specifies the “folder closed” and “folder open” orientations, as well as the “screen open” and “screen off” orientations. Not only that, but a report also includes a rough diagram depicting the closed and open configurations.
The launch date of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Flip 3
The two foldable smartphones will be released on August 3, according to a fresh report. Samsung’s new foldable smartphones are also said to be in mass production. According to executive Jon Prosser, the business has instructed manufacturers to create 50,000-70,000 units of each foldable smartphone each day. This figure is said to be significantly greater than that of prior models. The production of the Flip 3 is still delayed, according to the report. Both smartphones are expected to go on sale in certain areas on August 27. At this time, there is no information about the India sale.
Galaxy Z Fold 3 & Galaxy Z Flip 3 Features
The Galaxy Z Flip 3 may include a 6.7-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+, according to previous leaks and reports. In comparison to its predecessor, it may have a larger cover display (1.83-inch) on the front. The foldable could have a Snapdragon 888 processor, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and a 3,300mAh battery. It’s possible that the phone will be 20% less expensive than the Galaxy Z Flip.
On the foldable screen, the Galaxy Z Flip 3 could include a 10MP selfie camera and a 12MP+12MP dual-camera configuration on the back (when opened). Both the front and back cameras may be able to record 4K 60fps videos. Other elements could include a fingerprint on the side. A fingerprint scanner on the side, a USB 3.1 Type-C port, Samsung Pay, and an official IP classification for dust and water resistance are all possible additions. However, it doesn’t have UWB.
