Marvel Studios has taken a big leap this time on the occasion of Disney+ Day that was held virtually on 12 November 2021 with various announcements and updates. Amidst other announcements, an update on the WandaVision spin-off series titled AGATHA HOUSE OF HARKNESS was dropped on the occasion of Disney+ Day. The production took to the official handles of Disney+ to drop its first look which was much more of a black screen and the name Agatha House Of Harkness written in blue on it accompanied by the Marvel studios official logo.

Agatha: House Of Harkness will be a spin-off series of the famous miniseries WandaVision that was created by Jac Shaeffer and is based on Marvel Comics. WandaVision was seen hitting the platforms earlier this year in the month of January. The season continued for 9 episodes and turned out to be a massive hit which resulted in the makers considering another series on the same tracks. The initial series was seen reprising the original roles of Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany casting as Scarlett witch or Wanda Maximoff and Vision respectively. The series covered the aftermath of the film AVENGERS: ENDGAME thus continuing the franchise further. The show covered the lives of the two lead characters in Westview, New Jersey where they suspect something unusual. The show was much talked of and was even nominated for numerous primetime Emmy Awards.
This led to makers considering a spin-off series for which the announcement came out recently on the platform’s big day. Katheryn Hahn‘s Agatha Harkness which was seen as the role of a villain in WandaVision will be getting her own series where the original roles of Wanda and Vision will be retained by the fan’s most loved stars Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany. This news was not only confirmed by the official platforms but even Paul Bettany was seen dropping the logo ad confirming her presence in the spin-off series herself. The star was seen sharing the news on her official Instagram account with explaining her excitement by writing “YESSSSSS!’ in the caption below.

The news is increasingly gaining wide popularity and once again the franchise has managed to be in the buzz. The fans are excited to hear the revelation and are keen to unfold the various suspense and high-quality entertainment that the series will bring along with its release. The makers have chosen to limit the amount of detail to be given under the subject and nothing more can be revealed. The release date is also not known for now. It is also expected that the storyline will follow the tracks of the previous season after what happened to Agatha and she is sure to pick up from the same. However, Jac Shewffer who will also be seen returning as the creator has not confirmed or spoken about the same. All we can expect from the series, for now, is some great turn of events accompanied by binge-worthy entertainment and another massive hit of the Fan’s most loved franchise.
