Cobra Kai, a spin-off of Original 80’s Karate Kid is placed in present days that started its journey from Youtube premium. It’s now one of the biggest titles in Netflix Original Lineup. Having completed its 3 seasons, the show is now returning with its brand new season 4 this December 2021. It brings back Johnny and Daniel who come back to compete with Dojos. re-igniting their old rivalries. The show gained a good response and is also nominated for ‘Emmy Awards 2021’ in the ‘best series comedy category ‘ and also for three other prestigious award categories.
RELEASE DATE AND TRAILER BREAKDOWN!
The new season was announced by Netflix on August 5, 2021, to be released in December 2021. However, the exact date isn’t told yet. Talking about the trailer, it appeals to the viewers to “Fasten your Gi and tie your belts as this season is likely to take Karate to the biggest stage, where legends are born.” It also shows the main characters rehearsing as they are preparing for the ‘All-Valley Tournament’. It also gives a glimpse into a scene from season 3 where LaRusso told Ali Mills that Daniel and Johnny are ‘fighting for the soul of the valley.’

Season 4 was renewed way before season 3 was likely to hit the screens. The first episode from season 4 is entitled ‘let’s begin ‘. It’s written by Josh Heald, John Hurwitz and Haydon Schlossberg.

The series is ready to bring back to most of the familiar faces. Daniel LaRusso, William Zabka, Martin Kove, Xolo Mariedueña, Tanner Buchanan, Mary Mouser, Jacob Bertrand, Gianni Decenzo, Peyton List, Courtney Henggeler and Vanessa Rubio.
The new faces will be Thomas Ian Griffith(playing Terry Silver, Julie Pierce, Dallas Dupree Young and Oona O’Brien.
The show is produced by Sony Pictures Television. It is written by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz, and Hayden Schlossberg via their production company, Counterbalance Entertainment. They are also the executive producers for the show.
POSSIBLE STORYLINE FOR COBRA KAI SEASON 4
‘Let’s begin’ as the title for episode 1 suggests that the viewers are going to witness an eye-catching opening for this season. There is going to be a fight for self-esteem, as the upcoming under 18 All-Valley Karate Tournament gets to decide whether it’s Dojos’ combined representative Samantha and Miguel or Cobra Kai’s representative Robby, Kyler, or Tony who become successful in saving their head’s esteem. For the loser will hang up their gi and there on done with Karate. It is a continuation of the storyline for season 3.

NETFLIX ALSO RENEWED A SEASON 5 FOR COBRA KAI
Ahead of the release of season 4, Netflix renewed season 5 for Cobra Kai, even though season 4 is yet to come out in December 2021. The production of season 5 is likely to begin in Atlanta this Winter. The possible reason for this quick decision could be the success and popularity of the series that made it earn four nominations at the Emmy Awards.
