The TMNT Franchise
Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie is a Netflix Original Movie which is made under the direction of Ant Ward and Andy Suriano. The script is co-written by Tony Gama-Lobo and Rebecca May. The show is being considered as a continuation and is based on the 2018 Nickelodeon show series Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The characters are created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. Nickelodeon Movies and Nickelodeon Animation Studios Movies are the production houses of the film.
TMNT is forever a unique and extraordinary franchise for several different incarnations since its creation. The franchise began as a humorous dark comedy that parodied the edgy comics of the 80s era and is now a monolith of Children’s Animation Show.
The fame of the animation increased with many movies as well as continuous and consistent cartoon reboots for many years. The toys, comic books, and video games-themed TMNT are also really popular among children.
Synopsis of “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie”
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fans must be aware of the plotline of the series and the summary of the show. But the movie will only be related to the series and thus, the storyline might be very different and unique from the series.
The movie’s synopsis says:
“In Nickelodeon’s Rise of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie, the Ninja Turtles are faced with their greatest challenge yet when a mysterious stranger arrives from the future with a dire warning. Leo is forced to rise and lead his brothers, Raph, Donnie, and Mikey in a fight to save the world from a terrifying alien species… the Krang.”
It seems like many of the elements which were set up in the earlier show would be arriving head in this movie. Leo is going to take the place of the leader of the turtles, the Krang is going to get to have their spotlight, and things are going to get ridiculous.
There is some astonishing action and animation in the series. So wonder what will be the level of the upcoming auction with the budget of a movie. We could say that the movie is coming with much extra power.
Many might be wondering how and why would a franchise stay this popular with these many reboots. This is because it is a pretty versatile franchise. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles contain several throwbacks, tributes, and influences of many kinds.
The series contains everything from comedy, to sci-fi. battles, adventures teenage drama. The show also stands out from the crowd because of the strategy of mixing up a small amount of the usual formula.

On 27th April 2022, the summer 2022 film slate was released by Netflix on its social media handle. After a long wait, the fans should get ready to mark their calendars are they are soon going to be witnessing the Movie on Netflix. The movie will start streaming on Netflix on 5th August 2022.
We can expect the movie to be dropping on the streamer at 12:00 am. PT / 3:00 am ET on the official release date.

The update about the production of the feature film Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie was announced on 5th February 2019. On 12th January 2021, the official synopsis of the film was revealed on the Twitter handle of the franchise.
The film was also pushed to 2022 on 27th August 2022 because it was not completed on time. Production for the film was ultimately finished on 7th April 2022.
