Boo Bitch Trailer & Plot Synopsis

The trailer features the humorous side of Lana Condor, who is a popular face from the hit film franchise, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before. Even though having a supernatural background, the show is somewhat in this field and has a comedic storyline. Her talking about ‘if she can get pregnant after being a ghost and if there exists something like ghost babies’ was the most hilarious part.

Netflix describes Boo Bitch as “over the course of one night, a high school senior, who’s lived her life safely under the radar, seizes the opportunity to change her narrative and start living an epic life, only to find out the next morning… she’s a ghost!”

Now Erika is stuck as a ghost in this world until she completes her unfinished business. Throughout the storyline, she is seen discovering the dos and don’ts of ghosts. She reveals another twist in the story that she will be able to stick in this world as a ghost if she becomes more famous after death than in her main state. Erika enjoys this “Epic Life” after death as she gets the new narrative for her life, or perhaps afterlife, and can enjoy this to the fullest.

Lana, in an interview with Seventeen Magazine, explains her character Erika Vu: “My character becomes the worst person ever,” She mentions it to be crappy and mean. It will be interesting to see how Erika can be mean, while we already know how she becomes a ghost diva, similar to the life she always wanted.

Boo Bitch Release Date & Renewal Chances

Boo Bitch will be available on Netflix screens from Friday, 8 July onwards with a total of eight episodes released at once on the streaming platform. Each episode will be around half an hour long.

Talking about the renewal of the show for another season, as it is a miniseries, the chances are low and if the makers leave the story incomplete and wish to complete it in another season even in a mini-series, this can negatively affect the moods of audience and can make the show face backlashes.

Hope the series is able to enter the hearts of the audience and is able to justify humor with the supernatural world.
