The Action-Packed Story Up to Now!
Saitama, a God-gifted superhero is extremely bored with his profession. No! not because there are no villains to defeat, but because he is too strong for them. It takes a single punch of Saitama to bring the enemy to the ground. That’s why he is referred to as “One Punch Man”. He is joined by his cyborg disciple, Genos, and gets on his way to becoming a professional hero. Saitama develops an interest in Martial Arts and becomes a part of The Heroes Association. But the heroes need to get ready for a whole new wave of monster attacks.
But the worst part is yet to begin. Someone has started to track and hunt down the heroes on the planet and if Earth loses its protectors, it will surely have a Doomsday soon. In the Season 2 finale, Saitama has successfully killed Elder Centipede, a Dragon-level member of the Monster Association which marks the end of this arc probably. A prequel is also available to the main story that was released in the form of an OVA titled “One-Punch Man: Road to Hero” in 2015. This plot may return in One Punch Man Season 3 as there are fewer volumes to the story available in the market.
The Team Which Made One Punch Man Lovable
One Punch Man is a highly loved character created in Manga by One way back in 2009. After its adaptation for an anime series, the series got written into episodes by Tomohiro Suzuki while being directed by Shingo Natsume in season 1 who was replaced by Chikara Sakurai in season 2. J.C.Staff had replaced Madhouse as the production studio and helped raise the bars of animation in the show. Crunchyroll, Viz Media, and Muse Communication have licensed the show while TV Tokyo has been the official broadcaster. For the English dubbed version, Animax Asia and Adult Swim (Toonami) have grabbed the rights.
The superhit series has witnessed 2 seasons up to now with a total of 24 episodes and 13 OVA’s released to date. One Punch Man Season 3 is expected to bring 12 brand new episodes to the counting. The creator of One Punch Man anime, Yusuke Murata took to Twitter to inform the fans about a slight delay in the release of One Punch Man Season 3 due to some technical difficulties. The show has also faced delays before because of the ongoing Covid Pandemic.
As of now, the showrunners are yet to bring an official trailer or release date for the viewers but several reports suggest that One Punch Man Season 3 is all set to return on the streaming platform anytime in September or October of 2022. This is not a piece of confirmed news but as several sites have mentioned, we can expect the third installment to release by the end of this year. The series has got some seriously devoted fans and regularly, fans come to social media like Twitter and Reddit to ask the show makers about One Punch Man Season 3.
