Muppets Haunted Mansion is an upcoming American puppet comedy that is set to release on the OTT streaming website Disney+. It is based on the 2011 musical titled “The Muppets” by Jim Henson and the 2003 comedy film titled “The Haunted Mansion” by Walt Disney hence getting its name. After months of waiting, it finally has a release date! The movie will release on October 8th, 2021. Being a Halloween special, it fits perfectly into all the Halloween month content we’ve been getting!

This will be one of Ed Asner’s last works before his death. The veteran American actor has a cameo in the film. Ed is mainly known for his work in The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Up and Elf. He passed away at the grand age of 91 on August 29th this year. He will be terribly missed.
WHAT IS MUPPETS HAUNTED MANSION ABOUT?
Gonzo is a world-famous daredevil artist who seems to have done it all! On Halloween night, the fearless Gonzo takes up what is probably the biggest challenge he has ever faced- surviving for one night in The Haunted Mansion. He is accompanied by Pepe The King Prawn. It is the story of this one terrifying night and what became of Gonzo and Pepe when they entered The Haunted Mansion.
What happens next is for us to see when the time comes! Will they survive? Will they make it out alive? Only time will tell!

Muppets Haunted Mansion will release on Disney Plus for subscribers exclusively on 10th October 2021. There is no news of a theatrical release. This puppet comedy is barely 49 minutes long but is sure to leave you in splits!
