I think there must be nobody who has not heard about Minx. It has become the talk of the town from the moment it premiered. Is Minx returning with another season?
We are more than happy to share this news with our viewers that Minx Season 2 is happening soon. Soon after the show wrapped up the news of renewal was brought to light. In May 2022 it was officially announced that the show is renewed for season 2.
The makers have revealed that they are overwhelmed by the passionate response received by the audience. It came as a surprise to them as well as they didn’t think the show will receive such positive reviews and feedback. The fans cannot contain their contentment over this announcement and are waiting for the release date.
The release date of Minx Season 2
The news of the series renewal was a delight for the fans and the confirmation of the release date would have been cheery on the cake. But alas, there has been no confirmation on the release date of Minx Season 2. The series first premiered on 17 March 2022 and in May they declared the series renewal.
The shooting has begun and this has been confirmed by the cast in lead. Teasing the fans, Jake posted a picture of himself on the sets, on his Instagram account. This clearly hinted that the shooting has begun. With that being said we are hopeful that the fans will get to see Minx Season 2 somewhere in the mid of 2023.
The expected cast of Minx Season 2
Jake’s post not only revealed that the shooting has begun but it made it obvious that he is set to be a part of the series once again. Along with him, Ophelia Lovibond is geared up to reprise her role as Joyce. This was also confirmed by Jake’s Instagram post where Ophelia’s chair was clearly visible.
Setting them aside we really hope that the casting involves Idara Victor, Jessica Lowe, Lennon Parham, Michael Angarano, and Oscar Montoya, all the actors who have previously played their roles in the series. The details of the casting of Minx Season 2 have not been disclosed. However, the makers have revealed that Elizabeth Perkins is roped in to play a major role in Minx Season 2.
Apart from them, it is reported that Taylor Zakhar Perez who played the role of Shane Brody, a model, and Joyce’s love interest is not returning back for Minx Season 2 as he has been roped in some other project. It was revealed that he will be playing the character Alex- Claremont Diaz in the movie adaptation of Red, White, and Royal Blue.

It all starts when a young feminist journalist, Joyce realizes that her radical articles will not find their space and to shake things up she needs to come up with something else, something different, something erotic. One, that everybody will pay attention to. She then publishes her first erotic magazine for women with the help of a low-rent publisher, Jake.
