Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra and AAP MP Raghav Chadha are officially engaged. The couple exchanged rings in a private ceremony at Kapurthala House in New Delhi on Friday, May 13. The engagement was attended by their close friends and family members, including Parineeti’s cousin Priyanka Chopra.
Parineeti and Raghav took to their social media accounts to share the first pictures from their engagement. In the photos, they can be seen flaunting their engagement rings and smiling at each other. Parineeti looked stunning in an ivory lehenga by Manish Malhotra, while Raghav wore an ivory achkan by his maternal uncle Pawan Sachdeva.
Parineeti captioned her post, “Everything I prayed for. Thank you God for this beautiful gift. I love you Raghav Chadha.” Raghav wrote, “She said yes! I am the luckiest man in the world. Parineeti Chopra, you are my everything.”
The couple received congratulatory messages from their fans and colleagues. Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Anushka Sharma, Ranveer Singh, Ayushmann Khurrana and many others wished them happiness and love.
Parineeti and Raghav have been dating for over a year. They met through a mutual friend and hit it off instantly. They kept their relationship low-key and only made it public recently. Parineeti is an acclaimed actress who has won several awards for her films like Ishaqzaade, Shuddh Desi Romance, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar and Saina. She also judged the reality show Hunarbaaz: Desh Ki Shaan on Colors TV. Raghav is a politician and a spokesperson of the Aam Aadmi Party. He is also a lawyer and a chartered accountant.
The couple is yet to announce their wedding date.
