Based on the light novel series written by Fujino Ōmori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda, DanMachi has been one of the best fantasy fiction stories in recent times, some claim it to be the #1. The much-awaited DanMachi Season 4 is all set to release now and is coming with a bumper bonus for the fans who had to wait a bit longer this time. The bonus is this time, the season is having 22 episodes instead of the previous maximum of 12.
Dubbed “Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon?“ in English, DanMachi follows the main protagonist, Hestia, as she accepts quests and adventures in the fictional world of Orario. A young dungeon worker, Bell Cranell has no idea about his appeal to females, either mortal or immortal has finds a connection with Goddess Hestia. The anime adaptation has received a 7.6/10 MyAnimeList rating with a score of 7.4 on IMDb. The series has also been adapted into a manga by Fujino and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda. The first volume of the manga was published on November 26, 2013.
The anime version is produced by J.C.Staff studio and began airing the first season in Japan on April 4, 2015. DanMachi Season 4 was announced at GA FES 2021 on January 31, 2021, and has been under production since then. Now it’s time for the story to return and Season 4 is going to air this July. Danmachi Story Up to Now
After their victory at the war games, Bell Cranell and the Hestia Familia become the center of attraction for the Orario people. Wiene, a girl who speaks the human language is accepted on their side by Bell and Hestia. Bell dives into the 19th floor again with the help of Aisha and Ryuu to find answers that can’t be answered here. Wiene reveals her identity but Bell and others save her from the uproar, The Guild wants the Hestia Familia to bring her to the 20th floor. In an attempt to seek revenge for Ranye’s party, the Xenos destroy the town of Rivira on the 18th floor.
The lizardman rejects Bell’s proposal to search for Wiene but Bell continues to search for her on the 18th floor. The Loki Familia are all set to take down Wiene while Bell is assisted by Fels and the Xenos to help Wiene. Bell and Hestia Familia agree to help the Xenos return to the Dungeon via Knossos. Xenos falls into the trap of Hermes who want them dead and Orario falls prey to this destruction. Eina manages to evacuate the civilians but is chased by a Xenos. A lone monster walks down Daedalus Street looking for the man he has been fighting in his dreams.

Danjon ni Deai o Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darō ka is a light novel series originally written by Fujino Ōmori and illustrated by Suzuhito Yasuda. The anime adaptation is directed by Hideki Tachibana from the second season onwards. J.C. Staff has been brilliantly animating this fantasy series while the engaging music is given by Keiji Inai.

What Will Season 4 Bring To You?
Danmachi Season 4 is expected to continue with the “Labyrinth Arc”. Hestia updates Bell’s status at the Hestia Familia Home. She informs her child that she has leveled up after finishing. Ryuu has disappeared after leaving a letter and the maids at the Hostess of Fertility are looking for him. Chloe knows about Ryuu’s past and has an idea of what might have happened. But she was silenced by Lunoire who is worried about Syr’s reaction to this.
Ryuu recalls that his time at the House of Fertility was not enough to heal her wounds and the black flames of revenge still burned in her heart. The flames burned with joy when she meets Evilus and forgets to listen to her allies. Ouranos informs ‘it’ (Juggernaut) had started acting up in the Guild Prayer Room. Ouranos assures to send reinforcements even if they are of no use. Ryuu’s cup falls and injures Syr’s fingers while Tsubaki notices a crack in her hammer. After thinking of every possibility, she thinks of it as a sign of danger.

We believe “Fantastic” will be a small word for this trailer. The makers have released a total of 4 teaser trailers for the show, the latest one linked below, where we can see new adventures unrolling for Hestia. Hestia and Bell can be seen discussing what to do with the new dungeon. Hestia worries for Bell’s safety. We also see a flashback of Bell and his friends fighting in the dungeon in past. Let’s wait and see how this past memory is going to return this time.

DanMachi Season 4 will premiere its first episode on Sunday, 23 July in Japan while US viewers will get it a day before on 22 July. The season will add 22 new episodes to this storyline.
