Her parents, Karisa and Zack Doyle, shared the heartbreaking news on social media, leaving their friends and relatives in shock and disbelief.
A Vibrant and Joyful Girl
Ava, also known as “Bean” by her loved ones, was a vibrant and joyful girl who loved playing with makeup, dressing as a princess, and picking flowers from her home garden. She was also a caring and loving big sister to her baby sister, Ainsley, whom she adored and protected.
Her mother, Karisa, often posted photos and videos of Ava’s adventures and achievements on Instagram, showing how proud and happy she was of her daughter. In one post, Karisa wrote: “I asked her what she thought she’d look like when she grows up, and she laughed and replied, ‘mommy … like you, of course, because we are twins. We have the same face.’”
A Perfect Day at the Beach
On September 9, 2022, the Doyle family decided to take a trip to the beach to enjoy the warm weather and the splashing waves. Ava had a blast collecting shells, building sandcastles, and playing in the water with her dad and sister. The family documented the special memories and shared them online, showing how much fun they had.
It was a perfect day, and no one could have imagined that tragedy was waiting around the corner.
A Shocking and Unexpected Loss
The family did not reveal the exact details of what happened, but they said that Ava died in a “tragic accident” later that day. They did not specify the cause of death, but some sources speculated that it might have been related to dry drowning, a rare condition that occurs when water enters the lungs and causes breathing difficulties hours after swimming.
The family set up a GoFundMe page to raise funds for Ava’s funeral and memorial services, as well as to create a foundation in her name to support children who have suffered the loss of a sibling or parent. The page has raised over $40,000 so far, with hundreds of people expressing their condolences and support.
The family also thanked everyone who has reached out to them and asked for privacy and prayers during this difficult time. They said that they are devastated by the loss of their “beautiful, smart, sassy, and sweet” daughter, who was their “whole world.”
