She also began to feel like her head was burning and had difficulty speaking. Her aunt called emergency services, but Smith was unresponsive by the time they arrived. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The autopsy report stated that Smith had swelling in her brain and excessive bleeding of the skin around her torso. The report also noted that she had a history of hypertension and obesity.
How D.C. Young Fly and Wild ‘N Out Mourned Her Loss
D.C. Young Fly, who shared three children with Smith, shared a heartbreaking statement on social media following her shocking death. He wrote:
You are the GREATEST MOTHER I KNOW your soul was beautiful You always wanted the best for others and I admired how our family love each other!!! Never had to worry about our kids loving each other cause you were on top of Dat!!
He also thanked his fans and friends for their support and prayers during this difficult time.
Smith was also a former member of the Wild ‘N Out cast, a popular improvised comedy show hosted by Nick Cannon. She joined the show in 2015 and left in 2018 to pursue a career as a realtor in Atlanta. The show’s official Instagram page posted a tribute to her, saying:
