Nicole Carter was born as Nicole May Carter on May 27, 1941, in Pasadena, California, to parents Mike and Frances Carter. She had a younger sister named Christy. She grew up in Orange County, where she attended high school and worked as a weekend employee at Disneyland. She was a popular and smart student who became a song leader and graduated with straight A’s. She then went to UCLA, where she majored in teaching and joined the Pi Beta Phi sorority. She was a loyal fan of the Bruins and maintained many friendships with her college mates.
A Successful Court Reporter and Businesswoman
After graduating from UCLA, Nicole moved to Beverly Hills, where she started her career as a court reporter. She soon established her own court reporting agency, Nicole Carter & Associates, which became very successful and reputable. She had offices on the Avenue of the Stars in Century City, where she managed a team of certified shorthand reporters for over 35 years. She was known for her professionalism, efficiency, and charm.
A Late but True Love
Nicole never married until she met John Forsythe, who was also a widower at the time. They met at the Hollywood Turf Club, where they were both members. Nicole boldly introduced herself to John and complimented him on his looks. John was instantly smitten by her beauty and personality. They even celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary in March of 2010. However, John passed away on April 1st, 2010, at the age of 92.
