Nicole Carter Cause of Death: The Mystery Behind the Widow of John Forsythe

Nicole Carter was the third and last wife of John Forsythe, a famous American actor who starred in several TV shows and movies, such as Bachelor Father, Charlie’s Angels, and Dynasty. She married him in 2002, after his second wife Julie Warren died of cancer in 1994. Nicole and John seemed to have a happy and loving marriage, until they both succumbed to cancer in 2010, just weeks apart from each other. But what was the exact cause of death of Nicole Carter, and how did she cope with the loss of her husband?

A Quintessential California Girl

Nicole Carter was born as Nicole May Carter on May 27, 1941, in Pasadena, California, to parents Mike and Frances Carter. She had a younger sister named Christy. She grew up in Orange County, where she attended high school and worked as a weekend employee at Disneyland. She was a popular and smart student who became a song leader and graduated with straight A’s. She then went to UCLA, where she majored in teaching and joined the Pi Beta Phi sorority. She was a loyal fan of the Bruins and maintained many friendships with her college mates.

A Successful Court Reporter and Businesswoman

After graduating from UCLA, Nicole moved to Beverly Hills, where she started her career as a court reporter. She soon established her own court reporting agency, Nicole Carter & Associates, which became very successful and reputable. She had offices on the Avenue of the Stars in Century City, where she managed a team of certified shorthand reporters for over 35 years. She was known for her professionalism, efficiency, and charm.

A Late but True Love

Nicole never married until she met John Forsythe, who was also a widower at the time. They met at the Hollywood Turf Club, where they were both members. Nicole boldly introduced herself to John and complimented him on his looks. John was instantly smitten by her beauty and personality. They married in July of 2002, in a small ceremony at the Ballard Country Church. They moved to Santa Ynez, where they owned a ranch with horses, cats, and a white poodle named Nicholas. They enjoyed traveling, watching sports, and spending time with their friends and family. They were also involved in philanthropic causes, such as animal welfare and cancer research.

A Tragic End

Unfortunately, their happiness was short-lived, as they both developed cancer in their later years. John was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2006, which later spread to his bladder and pancreas. Nicole also had cancer, but the exact type and stage were not disclosed to the public. They fought their disease together, with courage and optimism. They even celebrated their eighth wedding anniversary in March of 2010. However, John passed away on April 1st, 2010, at the age of 92. Nicole followed him soon after, on May 11th, 2010, at the age of 68. They both died at their home in Santa Ynez.

A Legacy of Love

Nicole Carter was a remarkable woman who lived a full and rich life. She was a devoted wife, a loving sister, a loyal friend, a successful businesswoman, and a generous philanthropist. She left behind a legacy of love and kindness that touched many people’s lives. She was buried next to John Forsythe at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Ballard, California.
