The answer is yes: Trevor and Travis are brothers
Trevor Etienne is the younger brother of Travis Etienne, who was one of the best running backs in college football history. Travis played for Clemson from 2017 to 2020, setting ACC records for rushing yards, rushing touchdowns, total touchdowns and total points. He also helped the Tigers win the 2018 national championship and was a two-time consensus All-American and ACC Player of the Year.

“We knew Clemson had good people, but Trevor didn’t want to travel behind his brother,” Donnetta Etienne, their mother, said. “He wants his own legacy, which we understand. Travis paved his way there, and so Trevor needed to pave his own way at his own school.”
Trevor has shown flashes of brilliance in his freshman season
Trevor Etienne made an immediate impact in his first collegiate game, rushing for 63 yards on five carries against Florida Atlantic. He scored his first career touchdown the following week against Kentucky, and then scored the go-ahead touchdown in a close win over USF.
Trevor also had impressive performances against LSU and Georgia, scoring touchdowns against both SEC rivals. He finished the regular season with 719 rushing yards and six touchdowns on 118 carries, averaging 6.1 yards per carry. He also had nine receptions for 66 yards.
Trevor was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team as one of the best newcomers in the conference. He also played in the Las Vegas Bowl against Wisconsin, where he rushed for 38 yards on seven carries.
