Google Pixel 6 is the latest model in the ‘Pixel’ phone range by software giant ‘Google’. Google’s latest mobile phone launch was the Pixel 5a 5G that launched on August 17th, 2021. The phone comes with a 6.34-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080 pixels by 2400 pixels. The Google Pixel 5a 5G is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. Ahead of the launch of the newest models in the range, Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro, the Pixel 6 price and specifications have apparently been leaked by a German retailer through promotional material posted online.

Pixel 6 And 6 Pro Release Date
Google has confirmed that the new Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro will be launched on October 19th, 2021.
The event is called the “Pixel Fall Launch” and it will begin at 10:00 am PT, which is 10:30 pm in Indian Standard Time.

Pixel 6 Price And Specifications Leaked
Ahead of the launch, a German retail chain “Saturn” have leaked the Pixel 6 price and specifications of the Google Pixel 6. According to the promotional material that was leaked, the Google Pixel 6 will be priced at €649 which is approximately ₹56,161 for an 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant whereas the higher-end version of the same, the Google Pixel 6 Pro will be priced at €899 which is approximately ₹77,785. The price for Pixel 6 Pro hasn’t explicitly been mentioned in the promo. Prices are bound to vary as there is no official announcement as yet.
The Pixel 6 Pro is expected to have 3 storage options, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB which will all have 12 GB RAM.
Pixel 6 is expected to have a 6.4 inch AMOLED display with a dual rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor as well as an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor at the front. The battery is said to be 4,620mAh and it will include a fingerprint sensor as well as a new facial recognition sensor.

The new Google Pixel 6 devices will be powered by the Tensor chipset, Google’s first custom mobile chip which is supposed to be faster and smarter. Unlike their previous phones that had Qualcomm Snapdragon processors, this new custom chipset will enable Google to be more independent with their production process.

Google is also going to be announcing the Android 12 for Pixel devices at their Pixel Fall Launch event. Some other companies planning to join Google are launching their own Android 12 powered devices are Oppo and RealMe.
Android 12 is a new operating system that will be a significant upgrade from the previous versions in terms of speed, security, and supportability.
They are also expected to launch a new foldable phone later this year but not much is known about it at the moment.
Sources claim that Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will be up for sale from the 28th of October however there is no information yet to confirm this. Also, Pixel 5 did not launch in India so the pattern might continue with these new models.
