Corriveau ran a video arcade called Slick Willy’s World of Entertainment, while Corley owned a restaurant and bar called Buster’s. They noticed that their customers would often visit both places, and decided to join forces and create a one-stop destination for food and fun. They opened the first Dave & Buster’s in Dallas in 1982, offering a wide range of games, such as billiards, skee-ball, shuffleboard, and simulators, along with a full-service restaurant and bar.
