Costa Titch Cause of Death Drugs: Was the Rapper Poisoned by a Friend?

The South African music industry is mourning the loss of one of its rising stars, Costa Titch, who died on stage while performing at the Ultra South Africa festival in Johannesburg on 11 March 2023. The 28-year-old rapper, whose real name was Constantinos Tsobanoglou, collapsed twice before falling off the stage, sparking speculation about his cause of death. Was it drugs, epilepsy, or something more sinister?

Costa Titch’s History of Epilepsy and Seizures

According to The Weekend Argus, Costa Titch had a history of epilepsy, a condition that affects the brain and causes seizures. The publication reported that the amapiano sensation’s seizures could have been triggered by the flashing lights at the festival. Ultra SA, the organisers of the event, said they were “devastated by the sudden loss” of the “beloved” artist and “a galvanising voice amongst South Africa’s amapiano scene”. They said they would release a statement regarding his death after an investigation
