A Promising Soccer Career Cut Short
Bryce Kaminski was born and raised in San Clemente, California, where he developed a passion for soccer at an early age. He played for West Coast FC, a club that won many championships and tournaments. He also excelled at San Clemente High School, where he scored 28 goals in his senior year and helped his team win two CIF titles.
He continued his soccer journey at the University of San Francisco, where he was a four-year starter and a key member of the team that won the West Coast Conference Championship in 2017. He also earned two All-WCC honors and scored six goals and three assists in his final season.
After graduating from college, he pursued his dream of playing professionally. He signed with San Francisco FC, Orange County FC, and Golden State FC, where he showcased his skills and talent. He also represented his country on the international stage, playing for the US men’s national beach soccer team. He was part of the squad that won the 2018 Balaton Cup in Hungary.
Playing soccer gave Kaminski the opportunity to travel the world and see many beautiful places, such as Italy, Dubai, Poland, England, Czech Republic, and Hungary. He also inspired many young players and fans with his humble and fun-loving personality.
A Devoted Father and a Loving Family Member
Bryce Kaminski was not only a soccer star, but also a devoted father to his son Maverick, who was born in 2020. He loved spending time with his son and teaching him about soccer and life. He also had a close bond with his parents, Robert and Amy, and his three siblings, Schyler, Madison, and Treslyn. He enjoyed gardening, surfing, fishing, camping, and hiking with his family and friends. He was also a health and fitness enthusiast, who encouraged others to lead an active and healthy lifestyle
Bryce Kaminski’s sudden and tragic death has left a huge void in the hearts and minds of his loved ones and admirers. He will be greatly missed, but his memory and soul will live on forever. His legacy will continue through his son Maverick, who will always have his father’s spirit and passion.
A celebration of life gathering was held on June 21, 2022 at Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California. A burial followed the next day. The family requested that donations be made to a GoFundMe campaign to support his son’s education and future.
