Canada is not only renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and friendly people but also for producing some of the world’s most celebrated celebrities. While the entertainment industry takes centre stage, a lesser-known fact is that many Canadian celebrities are also avid gamblers, particularly in the realm of online casinos in Canada. In this article, we’ll delve into the thrilling world of Canadian celebrity gamblers and their adventures in the online casino realm.
Drake: Hip-Hop Royalty and High-Stakes Gambler
One of the brightest stars in the hip-hop universe, Drake, hails from the heart of Canada. His immense wealth, landing him as the fifth richest rapper on Forbes’ list in 2019, makes him no stranger to the glitz and glamour of high-stakes gambling in 2023. However, the affinity for gambling runs in his blood, as his father was a passionate sports bettor. Drake himself enjoys playing online slots, especially on pgslot, a popular site that offers a variety of games and bonuses. He once won a whopping $100,000 on a single spin, according to a source close to him.
Beyond his casino exploits, Drake is also a co-owner of the 100 Thieves E-Sports Club, showcasing his love for gaming in all its forms.
When Drake steps into a casino, he doesn’t merely test his luck; he enters a world where bets reach astronomical figures. High-rollers like him enjoy the adrenaline rush of placing colossal wagers on the turn of a card or the roll of the dice. His presence at renowned casinos worldwide has earned him a reputation as a daring and prosperous gambler.
Deadmau5: The DJ Turned Gambler
Deadmau5, the iconic Canadian music producer, conquered the world’s EDM scene and even topped Forbes’ list of highest-paid DJs. His penchant for taking risks isn’t limited to his music career; Deadmau5 is an avid gambler at online casinos in Canada. Surprisingly, he doesn’t limit himself to poker but enjoys a variety of games of chance.
His passion for gambling is so profound that Microgaming, a prominent online casino game provider, honoured him by naming one of their slot machines after him in 2020. The “Deadmau5” slot machine became a sensation among gamblers and electronic music fans alike, cementing his status as a true casino enthusiast. The game features iconic symbols from Deadmau5’s music and offers players the chance to win big while grooving to his beats.

A paparazzi photo from 2015 captured Perry gambling at the Commerce Casino at 6 am, a testament to his dedication to poker.
Perry’s love for poker goes beyond casual games with friends. He’s known to compete in professional poker tournaments, often rubbing shoulders with some of the best players in the world. His presence at these events adds a touch of Hollywood glamour to the high-stakes poker scene.
Pamela Anderson: The Passionate Poker Player
In a world where celebrities often have multiple exotic hobbies and passions, Pamela Anderson’s love for gambling stands out. While many play simply in order to relax, Pamela plays with a definite purpose. Her love for poker has led her to participate in high-stakes tournaments, where she’s not afraid to challenge seasoned professionals. Pamela’s fearless attitude at the poker table has earned her respect among fellow players.
However, Pamela’s gambling journey hasn’t been without its share of ups and downs. In a shocking revelation on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2007, she disclosed that she owed a substantial debt to a Las Vegas casino, totaling a staggering $125,000. To settle this substantial sum, she became involved with Rick Salomon, a famous poker player.
Pamela’s commitment to the world of poker extends beyond the casino floor. She’s so passionate about the game that she ventured into the virtual realm by launching “BamPoker,” a room on Facebook dedicated to Texas Hold’em Poker tournaments. This endeavour allowed her to share her love for poker with a broader audience and connect with fellow enthusiasts in a digital space.

Jennifer’s success in poker isn’t limited to the occasional win; she consistently showcases her skills in high-stakes games, making her a respected figure in the poker community. Her transition from Hollywood to the world of professional poker is a testament to her dedication and love for the game.

When he’s not mesmerising audiences with his music, Bieber can often be found in some of the world’s glitziest poker lounges, where he indulges in high-stakes casino card games. Whether in Las Vegas, London, or Atlantic City, Bieber enjoys a few rounds of blackjack or poker to blow off steam and unwind.
