Jennette McCurdy opens up about her experience

This week, Jennette McCurdy's book, I'm Glad My Mom Died, came out. In it, she talks about what it was like to be a child star.

Jennette became famous for her role as Sam Puckett on iCarly, which she did for all six seasons and a spinoff.

At the time of the reboot, Jennette seemed to have quit acting, saying that her mother made her do it even though she didn't want to.

Jennette wrote in her book about why she didn't want to do the iCarly reboot and how she told her co-star about it.

"Miranda, I’m not doing the reboot," Jennette claims she told her. "There’s nothing you can say to convince me."

Jennette doesn't seem to have changed her mind about coming back to the show after two seasons of the new iCarly.

But she does say that she's "open to the idea" of coming back to acting in general
