Synopsis Of Vinland Saga
Vinland Saga, unlike most mangas, is set in 1013 AD England. England is conquered by the Danish King Sweyn Forkbeard who is on his deathbed. Conflict arises between his two sons when the decision of his succession needs to be made.
Thorfinn is on a journey to avenge his father’s death. He plans to take his revenge and regain his honor even if it means dying in the process. He will die in a duel to regain his honor and dedicate it to his late father, as a respectable warrior and loyal son.
The plot follows these Viking rulers and their lives through the war with the Danes and the carnage that followed.

Vinland Saga Anime Series
The Vinland Saga manga has also been adapted into an anime series by Twin Engine in March 2018. The anime series is directed by Shūhei Yabuta and composed by Hiroshi Seko.
It is produced by Naokado Fujiwara, Yōko Ueda and Mitsuhiro Sugita.
