It has been a while since we saw the ending of The Witcher season 2 on the screens but there has been good news passed forward by the authorities regarding the production work of The Witcher Season 3.
The Witcher has come out as one of the biggest shows on Netflix and delivers a strong story to which the show has also recieved a great response from the viewers and though the creative recently updated that the production of the third season has been wrapped up and not only this it also has a confirmed release date at the time.
The anticipated adventures of Geralt of Rivia and other characters are just around the corner and it will be remarkable to cover the story on a full note once again. While there were a lot of talks and discussions from the viewers regarding the release date of the new season, it has been finally unveiled that The Witcher Season 3 is scheduled to release in the Summer of 2023 while a particular release date of the show is yet to be unveiled by the authorities. Hence the new season is expected to release between June to August of 2023.

There were big updates recently about The Witcher Season 3 such as the filming has been wrapped up while Henry Cavill has also written a message in order to mark this occasion. Entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, Yennifer shall be leading them to Aretuza where they have a protected fortress and as she hopes to discover more about the untapped powers of the girl, instead, they will go on to discover that they have landed over in a battlefield of political corruption along with treachery and dark magic too. The description read that they must have to fight with everything and now everything is at stake for them otherwise they will risk losing each other forever.
The Witcher Season 3 may lead from the same point where the second season left off such as the net closing in on Ciri along with Redania and the other Northern Kings all trying their best to capture the Lion Cub of Cintra while Francesca along with the other remaining elves also has Ciri in their sights at the time and who is now said to be under the protection of Geralt and Yennefer.

Season 3 has something big in store with the plot
It has been said that the warring parties along with the factions will most certainly be driving the force in the upcoming season of The Witcher. It is predicted that Betrayal could be part of the upcoming season as it shows that Aretuza along with the mages seems to be divided on a proper aim with who should they serve at the time while Jaskier is in the pocket of Dijkstra and Redania while this makes the situation even more complicated in time. The spell, on the other hand, seems to trouble Yennifer and Geralt respectively over time.
Laure Schmidt Hissrich, who is the showrunner revealed that the upcoming season of the show will be adapting Andrzej Sapkowski’s ‘Time of Contempt’. The Witcher Season 3 certainly won’t be the end while there is more plot to cover according to the creators and it is yet to see how the new season shall be making up a big impact on the show next year Summer the teaser trailer will also release in some time.
