The Circle is an American reality TV show on Netflix. It first came to Netflix on January 1st, 2020. Viewers enjoyed it so much that there have already been 3 seasons of the show since then! Season 3 of The Circle premiered on 8th September 2021 and ended approximately a week ago on 22nd September 2021. It had 13 episodes.
The Circle is a reality game show. It is a strategic, competitive show where contestants have to decide who they want to be (or not be) as they compete for the ultimate prize- US$100,000!
Although the show is supposed to be fun and light-hearted, players get very competitive and it is quite a sight to see! This is why the show got renewed for The Circle Season 4 And 5.
Here’s How It Works
All those who choose to contest in this game show, have to move into the same apartment building. The twist though is that they never meet each other face to face. So they do not really know who they’re up against.. except for via social media. But as we know, not all of what we see on social media is real.
They each live in their own apartments in the same building. Their only mode of communication is through a social media app that is designed in such a way that it lets users portray themselves however they choose to, even if it isn’t their real self that they’re portraying. Basically, it is catfishing with a valid cause! Players can also choose to portray themselves as someone of a gender other than their own, to throw people off.
Throughout the contest, players rate each other’s virtual selves from first to last place. In the end, the ratings are revealed and those with the highest ratings become “influencers” while those with the lowest get “blocked”. This goes on until the finale.
During the finale, the highest-rated player wins the game and the cash prize of 100,000 USD. Fans are also allowed to vote at this time. The player with the highest fan votes is declared Fan Favourite and wins 10,000 USD.

Previous Winners And Contestants
The Circle season 1 was won by Joey Sasso, who was praised for being his true self.
Season 2 of The Circle was won by DeLeesa St. Agathe who won by impersonating her husband Trevor.
The most recent season saw a late entry win for the first time. James, who won season 3 was not originally a part of The Circle.

Everything We Know About Season 4
In August this year, The Circle was greenlit not only for season 4 but also for season 5 by Netflix! The announcement came soon after the premiere of season 3 as viewership hit the roof with almost 14 million people tuning in. We don’t know any details about season 4 yet including the release date, but it can be expected in early 2022.
The trailer also isn’t out yet but can be expected once filming starts.
The current host Michelle Buteau will continue as the host for season 4.
A casting website is currently working alongside Netflix to pick the perfect contestants for yet another colorful and fun season!
More details on season 5 will come out post the premiere of season 4.
