The team of the upcoming HBO series Euphoria Season 2 has revealed that the popular actor of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland might be appearing in a short cameo in the series. When they were asked about the cameo of Tom Holland as Spider-Man, in the show, they answered casually that they think that might be possible to see. Sweeney responds that she really feels like they need Spider-Man to appear in the scene to save their day as Highland is f**ked up. Apatow mentioned that this might be the hint for a crossover. Sweeney jokes that then Euphoria will be meeting MCU.
Is it Possible that the Cameo is Really Happening?
As we all know Marvel Studios already have a huge wave of their phase 4 coming right up with some badass shows like Moon Knight of Disney+ and Deadpool 3 and many others. So, we can say that MCU doesn’t have any kind of plan to collab with HBO in their series. At least there’s nothing that we know of. On the other hand, it is known that HBO/Warner Brothers is a strong competitor of Marvel/Disney+ and Sony. So, you cannot say for sure if the production house will be allowing a crossover between two universes.
In this context, you should know that Tom Holland has revealed in several interviews that he has been thinking about moving on from the character we all know him for, Spider-Man. He also said that the time has come for him to focus on some other project or to appear as a guiding figure instead of appearing as the lead character. In the meantime, with his appearance in upcoming movies like Uncharted, we can assume that there is always a chance to see him in Euphoria. Maybe not as Spider-Man but as some other interesting character.
