It is indeed a very nice day for all the Marvel fans but the same can’t be said for Marvel Studios and Sony. The entire trailer of the new installment in the spiderman franchise No Way Home was reportedly leaked along with stills from the movie. Fans all over the globe are now busy with their own theories and Reddit contemplating what’s going to happen.
Recently the whole trailer of the new spiderman movie No Way Home was released on Twitter and the fans can’t keep calm. The trailer and the leaked pictures show sneak peeks of characters like Doc Ock, AKA Doctor Otto Octavious, played by Alfred Molina. It also showcased some of Jamie Foxx’s supervillain Electro and Norman Osborn also known as Green Goblin, played by William Dafoe. The leaked pictures and trailer suggested that these age-old characters are going to be seen once again playing their roles to perfection.
About The Film
It is confirmed that the film will be revolving around the concepts of Multiverses. The leaked trailer generated fan theories about Spiderman taking the help of Doctor Strange and wipe everyone’s memory about him being Spiderman.
The Star Cast
The new installment to the Spiderman franchise has been cast with a lot of big names. Stars like Tom Holland, Benedict Cumberbatch, Alfred Molina, Jamie Foxx, Andrew Garfield, Kristen Dunst, Willem Dafoe, Charlie Cox, and even Tobey Maguire. Out of the cast mentioned here, only Holland and Zendaya have been spotted on set, the other stars are yet to be seen.
Leaked Images From The Movie
Doc Ock, played by Molina is almost very similar to the last appearance of the character in the 2004 film Spider-Man 2. On the other hand, Jamie Foxx has a different look to his antagonist character, Electro. His character looks a bit mature than before, i.e, when he appeared on The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Dafoe on the other hand just shows his face in the leaked pictures, which also suggest the idea of him and his character, Green Goblin’s resurrection due to change in the multiverse as Doctor Strange alters it.
Details About The Leaked Media
Most twitter dwellers didn’t pay much heed to the tweet containing the leaked images as people didn’t think it would be accurate and are snaps taken from previous movies. But after other opinions and better scrutiny, the images seem to be pretty real. The location from where the pictures have been leaked is still unknown though. The pictures seem to be raw footage that has not gone through the VFX or CGI. It has more natural shots without the actual costumes which are shown in the original films.
Twitter Trend
The internet is going crazy with the new movie trailer and pictures getting leaked. The hashtag NoWayHome is trending on Twitter. Sony and Marvel Studios, however, are trying their best to control the spread of the leak. But nothing ever gets permanently deleted on the internet. Now all they can do is officially release the trailer after they are done with the reported CinemaCon screening which should take a day.
Release Date
The film is set to swing over our theatres on 17th December 2021.
