There has been a craze for alien invasions in the industry for years now. Solar Opposites is another hit sci-fi animated series that follows aliens invading our planet Earth but in a comical and humorous way. Ever since its initial release in May 2020, the show has been one of the best-performing shows on the streaming platform Hulu and has gathered highly positive reviews and tremendous viewership from the audience. Fans, since the end of the second season, are looking forward to the renewal of Solar Opposites Season 3.
The Hulu series centers around a family from another corner of the galaxy. They are different species of aliens called the Schlorpians whose home planet was destroyed and Korvo and Terry fled to Earth to seek refuge. They had also carried their two replicants Jesse and Yumyulack and an infant alien “the Pupa”. The unique storyline has created a separate fan base for this show. The previous season was released on March 26, 2021, and it is over a year now and fans are very curious about Solar Opposites Season 3. Storyline till Solar Opposites Season 2
At the beginning of season two, we saw that the alien family except Korvo were not happy to leave Earth after their ship was repaired. But Terry packs so many useless things that the ship breaks down again. Meanwhile, they also discover other Schlorpians in London. Terry and Jesse are invited to a dinner party and they convince them to allow the whole family to the party. Yumyulack shrinks down and discovers that the apparent death of the Duke and the rise of Tim have made The Wall become a perfect utopia. People at the dinner party think Korvo is weird which leaves him angry. He along with Yumyulack starts a new police agency and arrests people hosting illegal dinner parties.
Can you believe people getting arrested for hosting dinner parties? The show somehow manages to keep this humor intact throughout the season. Korvo‘s warranty complaint box can send letters into the past, so he sent letters to Terry in order to make him more responsible for Korvo‘s work requests. Poor Yumyulack is still tortured by popular kids at school. Terry and Korvo are told by another planet to send their replications to camp but the whole family gets lost in the Woods. After struggling for two months to get out, Korvo and Yumyulack finally decide to use the emergency urbanizer.
Now they split to earn enough money to find where they had parked the car. Korvo becomes a mafia member whereas Terry somehow ends up as a prostitute. Korvo finds the red cobbler at the department store and thinks he is going to kill him but the red cobbler tells him how he fell in love with a woman named Jen. The family somehow enters jail when a Genius Bar employee, Peter accuses them of torturing him at an Apple Store. It turns out Korvo is the reason for this.
Cherie gets stabbed by Tim and thrown out of The Wall and somehow manages to reach the solar opposites’ backyard with a broken leg. But the Pupa comes out to be the biggest trouble when he changes his color to light blue which means all of them will die at midnight. Now they wish to seek happiness in whatever is left and travel to Brazil only to coach a water-polo team and win the championship but they do not feel fulfilled. Yumyulack dies following Korvo and Jesse. However, the family is reborn as trees and now it is time for season 3 to reveal the further storyline of this hilarious series.

The show is an animated sitcom with science fiction fused into it. Originally created by Justin Roiland and Mike McMahan, the show is produced by Sydney Ryan and J. Michael Mendel. The show currently holds two seasons having eight episodes each whereas the third season is yet to release, having 11 episodes. The series also had a special episode which was released on November 22, 2021. Several production companies – Important Science, Justin Roiland’s Solo Vanity Card Productions!, and 20th Television Animation have worked on this series.

What to Expect From Solar Opposites Season 3? Check Out the Awesome Trailer!
The series was originally created for two seasons but in June 2020, the series was renewed for a third season. The exact plot for season three is yet undisclosed but we witnessed how all the main characters turn into trees by the end of season 2. The trailer itself is a parody of other action-thriller trailers and showcases the break of the Fourth Wall.
We may be able to know about the various humans trapped in The Wall. The Pupa’s growth is still a mystery for the family and they need to figure out how to handle it or stop it because it has already turned out to be the reason for their deaths. Korvo was quite annoyed and weird in the previous season but seems to have some freedom at this point in the storyline. He is still focusing on the mission and trying to fix the ship and is supposedly the only family member who still wishes to go back home. The trailer quotes “Sounds like the solar opposites are going to be having some fun this year”. They having fun is surely going to make us laugh with our hearts out.
Solar Opposites Season 3 Release Date
Solar Opposites Season 3 is all set to hit the Hulu screens on Wednesday, July 13, 2022. The first two seasons had only eight episodes but season three is having eleven. This means the plot is surely different from the previous seasons as the main characters are starting as trees here. This alien invasion and wackiness are surely going to attract a wide range of audiences to the show. Need some more good news? The show has already been renewed for season four and we can expect season 4 to release in the summer of 2023 and may contain 11-12 episodes.
