What Is Seraph of the End’s Plot?
The anime depicts a fictional universe and is centered on a young guy named Yuuichiro Amane. Amane has a traumatic past, having lost both of his parents at a young age. While attempting to acclimatize and live a better life in the Hyakuyu Orphanage, the entire human species is struck by a tremendous disaster. Suddenly, a deadly sickness sweeps the globe, killing everyone over the age of 13. While youngsters lament the loss of their loved ones, vampires who had lain dormant beneath rising up to control the planet by enslaving humanity and becoming rulers of the Earth.
Fortunately, Yuuichirou manages to escape the bloodbath and make his way back to the surface. When he reaches the surface, he is discovered by the Moon Demon Company of the Imperial Demon Army, a fierce human organization whose sole mission is to eliminate vampires once and for all, freeing humanity from captivity.
When Yuuichirou reunites with Mikaela, whom he thought was dead, the plot twists. Their reunion was not a happy one; in fact, to his surprise, he discovers that Mikaela has also changed into a vampire. Yuuichirou gains even more reasons to despise vampires, and he pledges to grow stronger and destroy the vampire world that took away his human companion and brought sorrow to the earth. He quickly joins the Imperial Demon Army and begins training to kill vampires.
