The Plot of Record of Ragnarok
The plot is based on heavy action and the battle between Humanity and Gods. It is a show of extremes. Both the text and series have won many hearts with their amazing plot. Record of Ragnarok is an anime that rapidly oscillates amid the highs and lows in every aspect.
In the show, it is shown that the Gods congregate every 1000 years for planning and decide humanity’s fate. After many efforts, the Gods start thinking that the humans are making them tired and they are struggling so much due to them. So the gods decide to demolish all the humans.
Before the judgment is cast, at its last moment, a Valkyrie named Brunhilde enters in and demands from the Gods for letting the humans prove their worth in the war of Ragnarok. Ragnarok is a tournament in which human beings have to face the Gods one on one. In the tournament, there are 13 people or fighters on each side and among them, the first group to reach seven battles wins.
Legendary humans face the Gods from the multiple pantheons from across history. Every one of them is wielding a Valkyrie who has transformed into a mystical weapon. To some extent, the series is a modern action fighting formula in its purest state.
We could say that everything related to the show is light as well as heavy at the same time. The war which happens in the show is for the literal fate of billions and billions of human souls.
We are also provided with almost nothing to work with, related to the characters other than what the knowledge of these figures creates in our minds of ours.
