Ranking of Kings Season 2

The Show Had an Awesome Season 1!

The show’s title is also the name of the system operated by a race of powerful beings known as Gods who rank the powers and prosperity of Kings in this mortal world. The #1 King will get a boon from the “Divine Treasure Vault”. And we have our lead as a little prince Bojji who is deaf and naive as he is powerless and still thinks of becoming the greatest of kings one day. He is a topic of laughter for people but he meets a shadow, Kage who is the sole survivor of an assassin clan. Kage understands what our deaf Bojji wishes to say.

The darkness and adventures of this duo are the main plots of this series. The first arc depicted the demise of Bojji’s father, King Bosse, who was regarded as the strongest man in his prime and a legendary giant warrior. While Bosse gave a green signal to Bojji for his succession, the royal court believes Prince Daida, Bojji’s younger half-brother is more suitable than him due to his physical weaknesses. Widow to Bosse and mother of Daida, Queen Hilling, persuades the court to cast voting, and Daida is chosen as the successor, ignoring Bosse’s will.

Bojji decides on a journey for him to undergo and turn himself powerful to claim his throne back. Hilling once loved Bojji as her own son but now has turned neglective towards him. Daida also has prepared a sinister plot to become number one in the Ranking of Kings and is under the influence of an enigmatic figure and a magical mirror. We are also waiting with you to know how Bojji is going to thrive back.

Potential Release Date & Announcement for Season 2

All eyes have been set on the show makers to announce the renewal of Ranking of Kings for a new season. Ranking of Kings Season 1 covered 156 chapters from the 12 volumes of its manga series. Currently, Ranking of Kings manga has 191 chapters and one chapter is added after every four months to Volume 13. We can not expect a full-fledged season if there are not enough chapters to continue the story.

If we see the pattern of new chapters’ addition, there are very few chances for Ranking of Kings Season 2 to arrive before 2 years. Fans had high expectations for the ‘Summer Festival Special Event’ on July 10 at the Tokyo International Forum which was held to celebrate the success party of Ranking of Kings Season 1. Fans didn’t get a piece of positive news and if we have to predict, Ranking of Kings Season 2 may drop anytime in 2024. We have to wait quite a bit to get our favorite pair of Bojji and Kage back with their story.

What Will Season 2 Witness?

There is very less plot available to give analysis as there are less than 40 new chapters to present the story right now. We can expect Bojji to undergo an intense transformation. Something wicked must come in the path of Bojji and Kage which changes their lives forever and strengthens Bojji’s will to get his deserving thrown back. We have to wait for the makers to reveal more chapters to the manga volumes to further know the storyline.
