Outriders developers, People Can Fly, have apologized for the rocky launch of the new servers and thanked the players for their patience and gifted them something to make them happy. Moreover, they are trying to make it up by giving out in-game gifts as an apology.
What is the gift?
The gamers who have waited for the patch to download between March 31 and April 11 will receive the in-game rewards from the developer. Developers did not tell the exact date yet. Users will receive a weapon that will benefit them in later stages, some game currencies called Titanium and a Frustration Emote.
Who will be eligible for the rewards?
The users with the highest level characters will receive the reward. Each level will define how much currency they are eligible to win and how powerful the weapon they will receive.
People Can Fly also thanked them for staying loyal to the game despite the server going down. Later the company authorities published a snippet on Reddit explaining all the possible reasons for the problems.
The Game- Outriders
For the readers who are not aware of the game. Here is the brief!
Outriders is a video game and are available on Play Station and Xbox. It is a virtual game played with two friends at a time. These types of games need a stable internet connection and servers to be working non-stop.
And a few weeks earlier, People Can Fly developers struggled to maintain the servers at their highest quality. And a dialog box would pop every time a user logs on to the game written error is a network connection, whereas the problem was in the servers.
What’s new after the patch?
After the patch, users were happy and content, but after logging back, they were surprised. All users have lost their data. As a result, all the users who were at level 100 returned to level 50. The patch updated last night was not working properly, and in the morning, many users reportedly said their data was not there.
Some users started addressing the issue on the official Twitter handle of People Can Fly. But, some stopped playing until the patch is updated again.
The developer said, “We are aware and deeply sorry that some users are continuing to encounter an inventory wipe. We are doing everything we can to resolve this issue, both server, and game-side. Our plan is still to work on restoration for all affected accounts.”
The developer People Can Fly issued an apology later that day. They stated the fact that they are trying to restore all the lost data. And they will work on the stability issues as soon as possible. But this apology made users worried. The user who have invested their time and energy were frustrated. The situation is becoming messier between the developers and the users.
