The OnePlus Watch goes on sale on April 14. It’s marketed much like OnePlus phones, which attempts to deliver premium features for less than what comparable flagship phones cost. At just $159, the OnePlus Watch is one of the least expensive smartwatches ever released by a top smartphone maker. But that doesn’t mean that there are no downsides to the smartwatch. The smartwatch is not having Google’s Wear OS, and that means no external app can be installed in the watch because it has no appstore. However, Oneplus says that it has chosen the battery life over Wear OS which according to OnePlus is more powerhungry.
Additionally the OnePlus Watch has various interactive watch faces through the mobile application. The OnePlus Watch has some amazing features as well which are not available in other smartwatches in this price range like the SPO2 Sensor which tracks the active oxygen count in the blood, you can also store your music directly in the watch and listen to it even with the phone by directly pairing your earphones with the watch. The sleep tracking feature is yet to come and by far the most impressive feature of this smartwatch is its exceptional battery back up.
