Ms. Marvel’s Story Up to The Second Episode
The first episode was lighthearted and gave us a brief introduction to Kamala and her family, where the teenager is obsessed with Captain Marvel while her family is overprotective towards her. Kamala’s family is always worried about her safety and rarely lets her do what she wants. Her brother, Aamir seems to understand her.
The story is surely building a serious plot line further as the second episode started on a light note where Kamala was exploring her powers. While she was just training to adapt to them an incident came where a boy mistakenly slips and found himself hanging on a tower building. As the people cry for help, Kamala finds a way to grab her Ms. Marvel outfit and makes her first public appearance as the “Savior of the Society”.
She uses her powers brilliantly to grab the boy out of danger but a sudden vision of an old lady sends her in fear and she barely manages to safely land the boy with a minor leg injury. The bangle belonged to her great-grandmother, Aisha. So the vision can be of hers but by the end, the story introduced Namja, Kamran‘s mother who also appeared in Kamala‘s vision.
So let’s wait to see what the character of Namja is about, a good or a bad guy, and what is the dark and shameful-considered story behind her great-grandmother Aisha.
Episode 3: Expected Plot & Release Date
Episode two of Ms. Marvel witnessed the reveal of Aisha, Kamala‘s great-grandmother. As Marvel hasn’t released any promo for Ms. Marvel Episode 3, it is hard to guess what it will come with. The episode can be centered around Kamran and his mother Namja. Namja doesn’t play an important part in the comic book storyline but was introduced at the ending of episode two.
Perhaps Marvel is coming up with an expansion in the storyline. Namja appeared in Kamala‘s visions as a result of wearing the bracelet and the story may continue about Kamala having some connection with her. Episode 2 revealed that the source of power was Kamala herself and the energy was coming from inside her. Yet there are so many mysteries behind these powers which Kamala has to discover.
There are chances that the third episode may provide details about the mysterious bracelet and Kamala‘s powers. “Thor: Love and Thunder” is all set to release next month and Chris Hemsworth expects it to be his last Marvel movie. This means Ms. Marvel and other new shows can later be connected to the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe, the MCU with a new line of heroes.
Iman Vellani, the actor who plays Kamals Khan in Ms. Marvel confirmed while speaking to Variety that her character will be a part of larger MCU projects. The upcoming episode of Ms. Marvel will drop on June 22, 2022, at 3 A.M. EST on Disney+ and this release of the episode will vary according to time zones of different countries.
