About The ‘Monstrous’ Season 1
Based in the year 2030, the story starts with a crew of local engineers in the Nigashio city of Japan who discover a mysterious music broadcast that has marked the arrival of a mysterious Red Dust in the world. They originate from Singular Points, which are areas in the world having bent and broken laws of physics. But this is not the only “out of the world” occurring as Tokyo gets invaded by Flocks of Pteranadon-Esque Rodan while Manda, a species of aquatic dragons terrorize Britain. But all this was nothing in front of the gigantic monster Godzilla who appears to mark the end of the world.
Yun Arikawa leads the team of engineers with a robot called Jet Jaguar that battles these beasts and protects the citizens that get in the Kaiju’s way. Meanwhile, an extremely talented graduate student named Mei Kamino travels all around the world, working with top scientists, government officials, and a prolific artificial intelligence system to detect the mysteries behind Singular Points that have made not only the Earth but the whole Universe on the verge of Dooms Day.

The Godzilla theme, Kaiju, and science fiction drama have been presented in the most impressive way by the director Atsushi Takahashi. Bones and Orange studios have collaborated for the animation work while Netflix has acquired the streaming rights. Originally, the show was broadcasted on Tokyo MX, KBS, BS11, and SUN networks.

Godzilla Singular Point Season 1 started airing on 1 April 2021 on an episode-by-episode basis. Following its release schedule, the season concluded on 24 June 2021. Netflix released the series to its American audience on 24 June and is yet to announce the renewal of the series for a second season.
