The Punisher is one of the great characters in Marvel comics. As two seasoned series also appeared on Netflix in 2017(season 1) and 2019(season 2) played by Jon Bernthal. In both seasons, it comprises 26 episodes 13 episodes in season 1, and 13 episodes in season 2. When it was first released its IMDB rating is 8.5. But even if there is a great success in both seasons in February 2021 Netflix decided that The Punisher season 3 will not be released on the platform as it has been shifted to Disney+ along with other Netflix Marvel series like Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist.

It was also confirmed before by the boss of Marvel Cinematic Universe Kevin Feige that The Punisher will be continued in the next series. And now Disney+ is working on this project it was confirmed by Jon Bernthal.
When can we expect season 3 of the series to be released?
As Disney has just started the work of season 3 of The Punisher. But Marvel has scheduled so many projects in the recent one or one and a half years so it will be impossible to include Punisher season 3 right now but we can expect The Punisher would release in the mid of 2024.
