Agatha Harkness is a fictional character from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). She is a very powerful witch who was first seen in WandaVision as the main antagonist. Agatha Harkness also has a son named Nicholas Scratch.
Fans loved her character and wanted to see more of her.
Echo is also a character from the MCU. She is the adoptive daughter of the Kingpin and her character has been depicted as a supporting character of Daredevil.
Echo will feature in the show Hawkeye that will premiere on 24th November 2021.
Now, a WandaVision spinoff series featuring Agatha Harkness and a Hawkeye spinoff series featuring Echo are both officially in the works at Marvel for Disney Plus!

Agatha Harkness Spinoff Series Title And Other Details
The Agatha Harkness spinoff series is titled “Agatha: House of Harkness.” Details regarding the plot are not out yet. Kathryn Hahn will reprise her role as Agatha Harkness.
When we first saw Agatha Harkness in WandaVision she called herself Agnes and was nothing more than Wanda Maximoff’s annoying and nosy neighbor. With time, her true personality is revealed.
In the series finale, Wanda traps Agatha in Westview by using her powers to force her to revert to her Agnes persona.
Echo Spinoff Series Title And Other Details
The Echo series is quite aptly titled just “Echo”.
We don’t know much about Echo’s character since we haven’t watched Hawkeye yet. Hawkeye releases on 24th November 2021, however, the spinoff series has been announced already so we have high hopes!
Alaqua Cox will play the role of Echo.
Our first introduction to Echo was in the Marvel comics. She is the first person to hold the title of Ronin before passing it onto Clint Barton, a.k.a. Hawkeye, in the comics.
Echo’s real name is Maya Lopez. Just like her title, Echo has the ability to perfectly copy another person’s movements or fighting style, making her an intimidating opponent in any battle.
We can’t wait to learn more about her and can’t wait to see what twist Marvel puts on Echo’s character. Or will they stick to her portrayal in the books? We’ll have to wait and watch!
Agatha: House Of Harkness Release Date
There is no official release date as yet. Marvel just said it’s coming “soon”, we don’t know how soon! Hopefully, sometime in 2022. However, phase 4 of MCU will have started by then, and with lots of projects lined up, the release of Agatha: House of Harkness could potentially be pushed to 2023 also.
Echo Release Date
There is no official release date as yet. Again, all we know is that it’s coming “soon”, we don’t know how soon! Phase 4 of MCU will start soon and with lots of projects lined up, the release date of Echo could be sometime in 2023. We also do not know whether this will release before Agatha: House of Harkness or after.
Well, good things always take time and these two series are definitely going to be good!
