What Does the Teaser Say?

When the CEO of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige made the public announcement about Moon Knight back in 2019, he mentioned that this series is ought to be a new type of action-packed adventure series and declared that it will turn out to be something exciting and unique. Now, as Disney+ has just released the teaser of Moon Knight, let’s have a look into it.

The footage starts with a scene where Marc Spector wakes up and roams around in a dark museum and we can see some Egyptian artwork in the background. This explains the past of the character as Marc Spector was actually a soldier for hire. He was abandoned in the desert of North Sudan when his mission near the border of Egypt went wrong. He was resurrected by Khonshu, the moon god and he was given the duty to be the incarnation of that god in exchange for his life.

Then comes the glimpse of the suit of Marc. At first, the introduction of the white suit of Moon Knight was taken as the representation of his opaque theory of heroic attitude. His choice of a white costume expresses his looks that cannot be missed by the bad guys.

After that, we see that Marc is covering his mouth with his hands and is hiding in the museum. From the opposite side, an unknown creature is coming near him while he trembles in fear. But his fear doesn’t last long though. As we see he’s beating the crap out of somebody in a wrecked bathroom. This stretched scene implies something much darker than a normal personal grudge.

After that, we hear somebody saying “The voice in your head, it devours you.” The speech looks like coming from a man. But yeah… we all know without any doubt that the man is Ethan Hawke. The anticipated villain of this miniseries!
